Coach Githinji
Cricket coach, Lotus Sports Club
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Lotus Sports Club
- Since 1999
- English, Swahili
I've coached cricket at Lotus Sports Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Githinji
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
