Coach Gilbert
Youth baseball coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Brookfield Boxing Gym
- 1998 to 2007
- English, Filipino, French
I coached baseball at Brookfield Boxing Gym from 1998 to 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
What gifts mean to Coach Gilbert: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
