Coach Gerhard
Netball coach, Soweto Youth Club
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Youth Club
- 2000 to 2010
- English, French
For ten years I ran the netball program at Soweto Youth Club in Soweto. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

If you played for me, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Coach Gerhard: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
