I'm a athletics coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 780 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Gerardo
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Coach Gerardo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
