Coach Gerardo
Martial arts coach, Mar del Plata Beacon Community Club
- 🇦🇷 Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- 2014 to 2023
- Spanish
I coached martial arts at Mar del Plata Beacon Community Club from 2014 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Gerardo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
