Coach Gemma
Youth baseball coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines
- 1979 to 1996
- English, Filipino, French
I coached baseball at Caloocan Summit Youth Club from 1979 to 1996. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
