Coach Gbenga
Youth softball coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Kaduna, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Kaduna Pioneer Swimming Club
- Since 2007
- English, Yoruba
I've coached softball at Kaduna Pioneer Swimming Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Gbenga
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
