For 17 years I've run the cycling program at Sakura Youth Club in Thiruvananthapuram. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Gauri: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
