Coach Gashaw
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Adama Youth Club
- Since 1979
- English, Amharic
I've coached chess at Adama Youth Club since 1979. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
