Coach Gareth
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Youth Club
- Since 2008
- English, Zulu
I've coached swimming at Pretoria Youth Club since 2008. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Gareth
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Gareth: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
