Coach Gabriela
Wrestling and fitness coach, São Paulo
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- Since 1994
- Portuguese
For 32 years I've run the wrestling program at Eastgate Athletic Club in São Paulo. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Gabriela: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
