Coached baseball for 25 years in Philadelphia
- 🇺🇸 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
- Philadelphia Youth Club
- Since 2001
- English
I've coached baseball at Philadelphia Youth Club since 2001. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Gabriela
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Gabriela: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
