Coach Gabriela
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Ciudad de México Fairview Boxing Gym
- Since 2007
- Spanish
For 19 years I've run the hockey program at Ciudad de México Fairview Boxing Gym in Ciudad de México. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Gabriela
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Gabriela: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
