Coach Gabriel
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- St. Mary's Community Club
- 2011 to 2021
- English, Spanish
For ten years I ran the hockey program at St. Mary's Community Club in Laredo. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Coach Gabriel
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Gabriel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
