Coach Gabriel
Coached cross country for 32 years in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Youth Club
- Since 1994
- English, French
I've coached cross country at Los Angeles Youth Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.

What gifts mean to Coach Gabriel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
