Coach Folake

Badminton and fitness coach, Badagry

  • 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Badagry Boxing Gym
  • 1980 to 2018
  • English, Hausa
I coached badminton at Badagry Boxing Gym from 1980 to 2018. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.

More about Coach Folake

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Folake: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
