Coach Fernando
Chess coach, Redwood Sports Club
- 🇪🇸 A Coruña, Galicia, Spain
- Redwood Sports Club
- Since 2006
- Spanish
For 20 years I've run the chess program at Redwood Sports Club in A Coruña. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Fernando
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Fernando: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
