For 38 years I've run the badminton program at Ribeirão Preto Bamboo Swimming Club in Ribeirão Preto. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Fernanda: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
