Coach Fernanda
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Stonebridge Sports Club
- 1984 to 2019
- Portuguese
For 35 years I ran the basketball program at Stonebridge Sports Club in Recife. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Fernanda
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Fernanda: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

you coached me in 2000. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Addis Ababa.
