Coach Fernanda
Youth netball coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
- Campinas Maple Ridge Swimming Club
- 2006 to 2025
- Portuguese
For 19 years I ran the netball program at Campinas Maple Ridge Swimming Club in Campinas. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Coach Fernanda
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Fernanda: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Best summer of my life. Greetings from La Plata.
