I've coached hockey at Istanbul Andes Community Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Fatma
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
