Coach Fahad
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇵🇰 Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Mardan Holy Cross Community Club
- 1998 to 2023
- English, Punjabi
I coached basketball at Mardan Holy Cross Community Club from 1998 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Fahad
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Kobe.
