Coach Everly
Chess coach, Harbor Sports Club
- 🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom
- Harbor Sports Club
- 2014 to 2022
- English
I coached chess at Harbor Sports Club from 2014 to 2022. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Everly
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Everly: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
