Coach Everett
Coached chess for eight years in El Paso
- 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
- Heritage Swimming Club
- 2013 to 2021
- English
For eight years I ran the chess program at Heritage Swimming Club in El Paso. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Everett: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
