Youth hockey coach and mentor

I've coached hockey at Newcastle upon Tyne Sports Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Everett: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
