For 31 years I've run the baseball program at Nottingham Stonebridge Sports Club in Nottingham. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Coach Evelyn: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

Thanks for picking me when I was the slowest kid on the team. Greetings from Girona.
