Coach Ethan
Coached rugby for eleven years in Manukau
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Meadowbank Sports Club
- 2013 to 2024
- English
I coached rugby at Meadowbank Sports Club from 2013 to 2024. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Coach Ethan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Ethan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Negombo.
