Coach Esther
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Bayview Athletic Club
- 1988 to 2015
- English, Yoruba
I coached badminton at Ikeja Bayview Athletic Club from 1988 to 2015. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Coach Esther: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
