Coach Esperanza
Coached athletics for 45 years in Málaga
- 🇪🇸 Málaga, Andalusia, Spain
- Málaga Beacon Youth Club
- Since 1981
- Spanish
For 45 years I've run the athletics program at Málaga Beacon Youth Club in Málaga. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Coach Esperanza
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Esperanza: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
