Coach Esperanza
Coached hockey for 22 years in Córdoba
- 🇪🇸 Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain
- Córdoba Youth Club
- 1979 to 2001
- Spanish
I coached hockey at Córdoba Youth Club from 1979 to 2001. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Esperanza: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
