Coach Emily
Cricket and fitness coach, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Boxing Gym
- 1986 to 1998
- English, Afrikaans
For twelve years I ran the cricket program at Johannesburg Boxing Gym in Johannesburg. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Emily
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Emily: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
