I've coached cricket at Burnaby Good Shepherd Athletic Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Coach Emilia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Iași.
