Coach Ellie
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Yonkers, New York, United States
- Highland Football Club
- Since 1989
- English, Spanish
I've coached boxing at Highland Football Club since 1989. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Coach Ellie: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
