Coach Ella
Athletics and fitness coach, Syracuse
- 🇺🇸 Syracuse, New York, United States
- Crescent Youth Club
- 2005 to 2025
- English, Spanish
For 20 years I ran the athletics program at Crescent Youth Club in Syracuse. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Ella
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Ella: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
