Coach Elijah
Chess coach, Houston Heritage Youth Club
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston Heritage Youth Club
- Since 2002
- English
For 24 years I've run the chess program at Houston Heritage Youth Club in Houston. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Coach Elijah: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
