Coach Elijah
Tennis and fitness coach, Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Community Club
- 1981 to 2010
- English, Spanish
For 29 years I ran the tennis program at Bakersfield Community Club in Bakersfield. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
More about Coach Elijah
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Elijah: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
