Coach Elias
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Sports Club
- 2004 to 2023
- English
For 19 years I ran the swimming program at Sacramento Sports Club in Sacramento. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Coach Elias
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Elias: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
