Coach Eliane
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
- Salvador Phoenix Youth Club
- Since 2009
- Portuguese
I've coached athletics at Salvador Phoenix Youth Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.
