For 18 years I ran the netball program at Fresno Athletic Club in Fresno. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Eleanor
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Eleanor: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
