Coach Elaine
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil
- Since 1988
- Portuguese
I've coached chess at Unity Boxing Gym since 1988. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
