Coach Ekow
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Pioneer Youth Club
- Since 2011
- English
I've coached chess at Pioneer Youth Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Coach Ekow
If you played for me, you probably remember the end-of-term party.
What gifts mean to Coach Ekow: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
