Coach Ecrin
Table tennis coach, Crown Community Club
- 🇹🇷 Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye
- 2006 to 2023
- English, Turkish
For 17 years I ran the table tennis program at Crown Community Club in Çankaya. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Ecrin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
