Coach Ebuka

Youth rowing coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Gateway Football Club
  • 1996 to 2012
  • English, Yoruba, Spanish
For 16 years I ran the rowing program at Gateway Football Club in Ikeja. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.

More about Coach Ebuka

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Ebuka: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
