I've coached rowing at Istanbul Jacaranda Youth Club since 2006. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
What gifts mean to Coach Ebru: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
