For 25 years I ran the chess program at Gateway Youth Club in Fort Worth. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Doris
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Coach Doris: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
