Coach Diya
Coached boxing for 24 years in Bengaluru
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Lotus Athletic Club
- Since 2002
- English, Hindi
For 24 years I've run the boxing program at Lotus Athletic Club in Bengaluru. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Diya
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Diya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2009. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Guarulhos.
