Coach Dermot
Coached athletics for 46 years in Dublin
- 🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland
- Hope Sports Club
- Since 1980
- English, French
I've coached athletics at Hope Sports Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Coach Dermot: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
