I've coached badminton at Çankaya Victory Swimming Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
More about Coach Deniz
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Deniz: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
