Coach Denise
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Jacksonville, Florida, United States
- 1985 to 2001
- English
For 16 years I ran the rowing program at Jacksonville Athletic Club in Jacksonville. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Coach Denise
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Denise: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
