I'm a swimming coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,720 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Coach Dedi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Dedi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Tampa.
